A family half term break in Wales

You're still counting your pennies after Christmas and the UK weather has been at its unpredictable best. So we have a few ideas to get the best of the February half term holiday without breaking the bank.

School group at Big Pit

Big Pit National Coal Museum in Blaenavon, South Wales Valleys

Wales has a number of museums and galleries whose entrance range from free to a couple of pounds. We know museums don't always appear high on kids to-do lists but how about exploring underground? Caves or mines, we have plenty to explore and are a magical experience for young and old. From following in the footsteps of miners to the myths and legends of King Arthur.

Wet and wild in Wales

If its too wild for a family watersports adventure then head to our indoor water parks or all-weather holiday villages like Bluestone, where the pool’s always tropically warm. Just like the welcome.
